These are some of my favorite paintings that I made between 1975 and 1990. Often these paintings started with drawings
and I would then choose the ones that interested me most (probably because I understood them the least) to make into paintings.
These paintings were typically fairly small, on intimate domestic scale until the 1980s when I because more confident
which coincided with an increased interest in paintings genearally. Throughout the 1980s my paintings became more ambitious in scale
and addressed more public spaces- like art museums.
